Iron and steel metallurgy
Powder metallurgy bearing is made of metal powder and other antifriction materials by powder pressing, sintering, shaping and oil soaking. It has porous structure. After being soaked in hot oil, the pores are filled with lubricating oil. During operation, due to the suction effect of journal rotation and friction heating, the metal and oil are heated and expanded, and the oil is squeezed out of the pores. Then the friction surface plays a lubricating role. After the bearing is cooled, the oil It is sucked back into the pores.
Powder metallurgy oil bearing (oil bearing) is a kind of porous alloy products with lubricating oil in the pores. When the shaft rotates, the temperature of the oil bearing increases and the pumping effect is caused by the friction between the shaft and the oil bearing. The lubricating oil is permeated from the friction surface with the inner or outer diameter of the bearing containing oil, when the shaft stops rotating. The lubricating oil returns to the inside of the oil bearing. Therefore, the consumption of lubricating oil is very small, which can be used for a long time without external supply of lubricating oil. It is very suitable for the occasion of difficult oil supply and avoiding lubricating oil pollution.
Oil bearing is widely used in electric machinery industry, automobile and motorcycle industry, home appliance industry, digital products, office equipment, electric tools, textile machinery, packaging machinery and other mechanical equipment.
Generally speaking, oil bearing made by powder metallurgy is mainly made of raw material powder by pressing, sintering, shaping, soaking and other processes. Most of today's machines are highly automated. The daily output is relatively large, most products can be formed once, so the larger the batch, the better the production. And now we can make hundreds of thousands of molds if we use less molds, and more than a million if we use more molds. But the mold cost is relatively high, so it's not easy to do with less batches, and the time to change the mold is also long.
Generally speaking, the oil bearing of powder metallurgy can be formed in one time without cutting. Cost is lighter than machining, material waste is less, so the price is cheaper. It is also in line with the current national policy of promoting energy conservation, so it is considered a technology that will not fall behind.
The base of PM oil bearing has been filled with lubricating oil by means of vacuum impregnation, and the lubricating oil will seep to the running surface due to temperature rise and pump suction during operation, so it can be used in the situation without additional lubricating oil.
